Reign of Ota

Today we will  be looking at one of the greatest fight to ever happen in Naruto franchise. Actually on average aspects of fights this could come out as the best fight ever, yeah I mean ever, Uchiha fans could agree with me on this one. Mind you there hasn’t been a fight in the whole anime, including movies fillers and non canon, that has ever featured two Susanoo’s in them, now tell me, why wouldn’t this make this one the best fight ever!

Now let us look at the battle contents, all the exciting scenes that lies within this one. Firstly, Sasuke had followed Itachi with the intention to find out the truth only to catch up with him in Kabuto’s hideout. Sasuke was still insisting on Itachi telling him the truth, but Itachi promised to tell him after he had help him to del with Kabuto and release the reanimation.

Wanting to hear the truth from Itachi’s mouth Sasuke agreed, forming a sibling tag team against Kabuto. Well this could also testify Kabuto strength, as he wasn’t even worried about facing off two Uchiha’s with the mangekyo and have awakened their Susanoo. To really understand Kabuto’s power and strength I will soon release another article that will clearly review Kabuto’s power, like from this battle we could tell that he has became insanely strong, pushing the two brothers to the corner.

If you really look into this from a wide point of view, you would notice that this is Itachi’s only fight that he really fought serious, managing to put his power and battle potential to its fullest with Sasuke on the side, I’m sure he was proud as he managed to become that bigger brother he wanted Sasuke to have. His soul was at ease and in joy, well this is it for you for the best fight there could ever be.

With the two brothers working in unison, Sasuke attempted to attack but Itachi told him that they need him alive, this is another thing that made this battle more interesting and dynamic. Being against the most renowned Genjutsu user, Kabuto takes precaution by covering his eyes using his snake abilities and prepares to fight using Sage mode to sense his opponents, similar to what Madara did when he was revived.

With infinite sage power on his hands, and having acquired abilities of sound four together with Karin’s infinite healing and Suigetsu’s body hydrification technique, he had indeed became invincible as he had claimed, quickly pushing the two brothers to release their Susanoo. Things where not on their favour as they where hardly keeping up with Kabuto’s sage enhanced abilities, quickly overwhelming  them and they where only on the defensive.

Itachi quickly noticed that they can’t defeat Kabuto and came up with Izanami as the solution. Since no one except Uchiha’s know much about this jutsu Kabuto thought that  it was just a legend and Itachi was going to demonstrate the Jutsu, actually it was his only way out of this. Kabuto was putting too much of a fight such that Itachi had tough time setting up the jutsu and not to mention that he got out of  this fight by a hair’s breadth.

With Izanami activated Kabuto was left trapped in the genjutsu world, being left fighting the phantom Sasuke and Itachi on an endless loop. This Jutsu has only been shown once in the anime, fortunately the managed to explore all the mysteries around it as soon as they introduced it. But to keep the spice of this article I prefer explaining much about this jutsu on a separate article where I will fully expose and eplain it, just keep in touch and you will soon see it.

To continue with the battle, after a struggle some effort to cast Izanami, that almost failed, Itachi had managed to stop Kabuto and what was left to do was use a genjutsu to force Kabuto to release Edo tensei. Itachi took this time to tell Sasuke the truth behind the Uchiha clan massacre and explain more about the origin of Izanami and Izanagi Jutsu, well as I have said before I will release an article to explain more in this genjutsu’s to avoid any deviations from this article’s title.

Afterwards we get to witness the most touching  moments between the brothers, maybe this is what changed Sasuke’s thoughts about destroying Konoha and brought forth his revolution idea. It is also at this fight that Itachi’s heroic actions have been revealed. And was seen as a hero instead of a villain that he was for his entire life. With the reanimation release Itachi says his parting words to his brothers stating that he is still Itachi of the leaf and will always love Sasuke no matter what.
